What does Mitrr™ do? |

Mitrr allows you to sync your phone’s content, with our server online. Each time you add or change your phonebook contents on your phone or on Mitrr, and sync, your Mitrr account is copied onto your phone and vice versa. |

Do I need install any new software to use Mitrr™? |

You only need to download Mitrr mobile application to use Mitrr on your mobile phone. On the other hand, you can also enjoy Mitrr services on your computer through internet after you register and create a profile for yourself. |

On what principle does Mitrr™ work? |

Mitrr™ works on the principle of ‘two-way synchronization’. It makes the contacts of your phonebook identical on both sides; your mobile and Mitrr server on web. Hence, if you make some changes in your mobile and sync, those changes will be made in the server and vice-versa. |

Yes, absolutely. Mitrr™ uses state-of-the-art security features to protect your profile information. As you only set the visibility levels and access to your personal information, no one can alter your personal information without your information. |

How do I connect with others on Mitrr™? |
| |
You can connect with anyone who is willing to accept your request to connect. If the person you want to connect with is already on Mitrr, just browse to his or her profile and select form the host of features, which Mitrr provides to you. If your friend is not yet on MITRR, you can send him or her an invitation by clicking ‘Invite’ in the ‘Invite Friend’ section. |

Can I sync more than one phone? |

Yes, you can sync as many phones with your MITRR account as you like, as long as they are compatible. |

I didn't receive the settings during set up, why? |
| |
Occasionally SMS messages don't get delivered; this could be due to some technical snags that are beyond our control. The best thing to do after waiting for two minutes is to check that the details you gave us are correct. If so, go ahead and request the SMS again. |

I am getting a lot of MTxt™ from Mitrr™, why? |

At Mitrr we adhere to a strict privacy policy.
The MTxt, which you are referring to are actually initiated from your friends on MITRR and/or are invitations. |

How can I break an existing connection? |

Log in to your account on Mitrr. Go to Settings. Select Delete Friends. Select the friend(s) you want to delete from your list. Select Delete Mitrr. |

Can I get all my contacts from my own phone on to a new one even if it's a different brand? |

Yes, as long as your new phone is one of the supported phones; you'll be able to sync your contacts to your new handset. |

How does sync work? |
| |
MITRR makes use of a synchronization standard to transfer data between mobile phone and an online account, using a GPRS connection. This transfer is two-way, i.e. at the end of a completed sync session data will be identical on both the user account and the phone. Therefore if you make any change to your phone book data and sync, the same data will be updated in your account and vice versa. So all you need is a compatible phone (see phone list) and a working internet connection from your operator to use the data backup facility at MITRR. |

I accidentally deleted some contacts, can you help? |

If you delete any contacts on the phone or MITRR account and sync, they will be deleted from your mobile as well, because this is how two-way synchronization works: "making data identical at both ends". |

How much does it cost to use Mitrr™? |

All the basic features of Mitrr are free (forever). You only pay for your internet connection as usual both on your computer and mobile. |
